Ferbruary 2020
From market opportunities and challenges to new products and mega trend sustainability – how the nearly $125 billion textile services market will develop until 2025 is the subject of a market opportunity assessment from The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU). The report was commissioned by US textile laundry association Textile Rental Services Association (TRSA) to identify the main drivers for demand for the industry’s services in the next five years.
Ranging from Japan and Brazil to the USA, the report will profile 13 countries. The market opportunity assessment about the opportunities for linen, uniform and facility services suppliers is based on interviews with almost 30 industry experts and includes profiles of ten public companies in the industry. “The results will be discussed, released and available for purchase at discounted rates to World Textile Congress (WTSC) participants before subsequent release internationally,” said TRSA president and CEO Joseph Ricci. WTSC will take place in Frankfurt on 18th and 19th June 2020, closely followed by Texcare International, which will kick off on 20th June. Texcare International is one of the eight sponsors of WTSC. The previous congress in 2016 attracted around 90 executives from 50 textile services companies from twelve countries. The same year, 15,700 visitors travelled to Texcare International, 57% of which came from abroad. Roughly 320 companies exhibited their goods and services. The next Texcare International will run from 20th to 24th June 2020.
