That tourism in China is recovering was impressively demonstrated by the latest Chinese holiday, the Golden Week over 1 May. With around 230 million trips within China, almost as many people were travelling as before the pandemic. With the upswing in the hotel and restaurant industry, business in the textile care industry is also picking up again.
The most important trade fair for textile care in Asia, Texcare Asia & China Expo Laundy, benefits from this positive mood. Already, 75 percent of the exhibition space has been booked and 130 companies have confirmed their participation. The encouragement from leading national and international companies in the sector is great. ASAHI, BÖWE, Chuandao, Girbau, Herbert Kannegiesser, Huahai Zhibang, HYDRO, Jensen-Group, Sailstar, Sea-Lion, Sun Shine, UNISEC, Weishi and Yasen will be exhibiting, to name but a few.
The pandemic has presented the textile care industry with unprecedented challenges on the one hand, but on the other hand it has given companies the opportunity to reposition the business and reassess the needs of customers. The winners here are intelligent laundry solutions. They not only increase convenience but also reduce running costs and are therefore becoming increasingly popular both in laundries and with end customers. In addition to smart laundry, textile hygiene, energy efficiency and sustainability will be the focus of the upcoming Texcare Asia & China Laundry Expo from 27 to 29 September 2021 in Shanghai.
